Цель. История региональной советской прокуратуры в трудах советских и российских исследователей ХХ в.

Процедура и методы

Процедура и методы. Исследование проводилось по материалам правовых и историко-правовых научных работ, выходивших в 1950–1990-е гг., с применением проблемно-хронологического и формально-юридического методов исследования.

Результаты

Результаты. В работе рассматриваются представления советских и современных учёных-правоведов и историков об истории и природе прокурорского надзора и прокуратуры в СССР. Отмечаются неоднозначность и противоречивость изучения истории советской юстиции.

Теоретическая и/или практическая значимость. Данное исследование вносит вклад в изучение деятельности советских надзорных и обвинительных органов. Статья может быть полезна специалистам по истории и организации юстиции.

Aim

Aim. In the study, the history of Soviet regional prosecutor’s offices in the works of 20th century Soviet and Russian researchers is explored.

Methodology

Methodology. The study was conducted based on legal and historical-legal studies published between the 1950s and 1990s, using problem-chronological and formal-legal research methods.

Results

Results. The views of Soviet and contemporary legal scholars and historians on the history and nature of prosecutorial oversight and the prosecutor’s office in the USSR are examined. The study of the history of Soviet justice is characterized by ambiguity and contradictions.

Research implications

Research implications. The research conducted contributes to the study of the activities of Soviet supervisory and prosecutorial bodies. The article may be useful for specialists in the history and organization of justice.
